Illustrator to watch: Sarah Hankinson

When I think of Sarah Hankinson, I go green. Not environmentally friendly, but green with envy. As far as illustrators go Sarah is one of the most popular ones in Australia. Which is why Fashion Exposed enlisted her illustrations for the Magazine Lounge in the Bags and Accessories area!

We love her elegant illustrations that focus so much on the beauty of the female face; a bold lip, long fluttering lashes or a mass of flowing locks. You can tell so much from the eyes and the lips of her illustrations. And we’re not the only ones who love them too with Sportsgirl, Portmans, Kookai, Hardie Grant Publishers and Impulse Body Spray enlisting her services. Sarah’s work has also appeared in Yen, Cleo, Girlfriend and Shop Til You Drop magazines as well as the in solo exhibitions in Melbourne.

Adorne & Freya Lingerie featured in Grazia!

We’re not ashamed to say it, our exhibitors are stars. So it comes as no surprise that the fashion team at Grazia magazine think so too! In the February 7th, 2011 edition of Grazia, we spied a stunning sequined bib necklace by Adorne while beautiful lingerie by Freya made the cut in a floral lingerie spread.

Danni Minogue and Alex Perry to showcase at Premiere @ Fashion Exposed

Project D: Danni Minogue and Tabitha Somerset-Webb

Fashion is a cult, and two of the most talked about names on both sides of the runway are set to debut at PREMIERE. A boutique tradeshow where selected labels with a cult-like following are teaming up with Fashion Exposed, bringing Danni Minogue‘s fashion line Project D to Australia to be showcased alongside iconic Australia labels like Alex Perry, Little Joe by Gail Elliot, T.L. Wood and Trelise Cooper.

Yummy mummy and Australia’s Got Talent judge, Minogue started her Project D label last year with friend Tabitha Somerset-Webb and has proven her style cred while working on Britian’s X Factor. It’s no doubt an up-and-coming fashion label from one of our most famous exports.

And who could forget about Alex Perry? The Australia’s Next Top Model Judge and couture king of Australia has women beating down his door every day to get into one of his beautiful gowns.
