NYFW Spring 13 Street Style trends via The CUT
As one of the most popular colours for Fall 2012, it’s no surprise then that fashion’s infatuation with oxblood should transition to Spring.
From DKNY, Peter Som, Haider Ackermann, Helmut Lang, Proenza Schouler, Rodarte, Derek Lam and Alexander Wang’s Fall collections all embraced the burgundy hue from head to toe mahogany to accents via accessories from wide leather belts to bags and oversized totes seen at Celine.
Even The CUT documented the oxblood tone as a key look during NYFW Spring 13. Expect the leather trend to continue through the season in this deep wine shade along with separates, outerwear, accessories and footwear.

September 14, 2012
Just as the weather is heating up, so is the fashion and that means shorter hemlines, backless and strapless will be making their way into our wardrobes.
But once again our recent obsession with the 90s comes back to haunt us with the cyclical return of the cut-off denim short, seen having a major moment on the streets during New York Fashion Week.
Fashion editors were seen sporting vintage Levi’s varieties with ripped, frayed edges and distressed details. Even Taylor Tomasi Hill was seen in black Ksubi’s offset with a long sleeveless blazer and shirt tails poking out the pockets.
Will you be sporting denim cut-offs this summer?
Mirrored reflection…
September 13, 2012
Fashion is all nostalgic for the early 90s lately. From double denim ensembles, to plaid shirts tied around the waist (seen at Phillip Lim Spring 13) and now mirrored sunglasses. From the subtle silver reflections to the super garish orange and blue shocking shades, they’ve all made their way onto the stylish noses of famous editors and bloggers for NYFW Spring 13.
Taylor Tomasi Hill made them famous here during her MBFWA tour rocking out the Westward Leaning orange shades.
If anything, it makes for a handy lipstick mirror… what do you think of the reflective look?
